Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Possibly around 5.15pm on Saturday 25 July in St. Michael’s Street, Sutton in Ashfield, the following were stolen from a property, x-box, old white Nike Airforce1 trainers size 12, 10 cans of Monster White drinks in a carrier bag. Burglary Other Between 10.00am on Wednesday 22 and 8.10am on Thursday 23 July in Marshall Terrace, Stanton Hill, Sutton in Ashfield, a garage was broken into damaging the door and the lock. A black Peugeot Tweet with L plates back and front was stolen. It was recovered with a broken wing mirror but minus the L plates. Around 3.40am on Monday 27 July in Manderley Gardens, Sutton in Ashfield, a garage door was prised open and a black and green MRX dirt bike, a luminous green Trek push bike, a small adult light grey Point push bike, a grey and green Cube push bike and a red and black Aovo Pro electric scooter were stolen along with a number of De-Walt and Makita power tools. The thief was male, 6-00”, skinny build, wearing a grey hoodie, dark tracksuit bottoms, black trainers. Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft from motor vehicle Between 7.00pm on Thursday 23 and 3.20pm on Friday 24 July in Walton Street, Sutton in Ashfield, the drivers side window of a silver Kia Optima 3 CRDi was smashed to gain entry and a card holder containing a drivers licence and bank cards was stolen. Between Thursday 16 and Friday 17 July in Moorland Close, Sutton in Ashfield, the shutter on the side of a pick up flat bed truck was forced and a tool was stolen. Theft Overnight Wednesday 22 to Thursday 23 July in Silverhill Lane, Teversal, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of a timber harvester being broken into and the door damaged. Fuel tanks and tools were stolen. On the evening of Saturday 18 July at The Nags Head Inn, Low Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a bank card was stolen. Around 9.00pm on Tuesday 28 July in Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a hydraulic jack, left behind a van outside Food Plus for 10/15 minutes, was stolen Criminal Damage Between 3.00pm on Wednesday 22 and 5.00pm on Thursday 23 July at St. Marys Court. The Oval, Sutton in Ashfield, wood splinters were forced into a door lock so that it could no longer be opened. ASB At 5.09pm on Thursday 23 July outside Meadowcroft, Kingfisher Way, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of two teenage boys and five girls riding around on bikes and scooters, causing trouble, giving abuse and threatening the caller. Both males were white, 15/16years old, slim build. One male had fluffy brown hair, wearing red shorts and no top. At 6.50pm on Saturday 25 July at the Lakeside Point Retail Park, Lakeside View, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of youngsters in hoodies and balaclavas setting fires. The caller was concerned that the fires might spread to dry grass in the area. At some time on Saturday 25 July in Hardwick Lane, Sutton in Ashfield, the caller is having issues with youths on the empty land at the back of her property. Today three pieces of wood have been thrown into her garden one hitting the back door. A report at 10.25am on Sunday 26 July at Ladbrokes, The Idlewells, Sutton in Ashfield, of rough sleepers outside the Fire Exit at the back of the shop who were refusing to leave. At 11.47pm on Monday 27 July in Portland Street, Sutton in Ashfield, two girls, 14/17 years old were smashing bottles on the ground near the car park half way up the street. When asked to move they did but have now returned.
